Recently, EGing PV has achieved excellent results in the 2024 EcoVadis Sustainability Certification Rating, earning the "Silver" certification medal from EcoVadis. Among more than 140,000 registered companies from over 220 industries worldwide, EGing PV ranks in the top 12%.
What is "EcoVadis"?
EcoVadis is a globally recognized standard for assessing corporate sustainability performance. Its review and evaluation methods are based on several international sustainability standards, including the ISO26000 Social Responsibility Standard, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Guidelines, International Labour Organization conventions, and the United Nations Global Compact principles. It covers over 220 industries and more than 180 countries. The assessment criteria mainly include four areas: environment, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement. The aim is to evaluate the environmental and social (ESG) performance of enterprises on a global scale.
This award of the silver medal is an affirmation of EGing PV's long-term commitment to practicing the concept of sustainable development. In the field of environmental protection, EGing PV adheres to a green and low-carbon development path and has recently been listed among the "Green Supply Chain Management Enterprises" announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for the year 2024. The company insists on conducting regular "greenhouse gas verification" certifications annually, with multiple products obtaining certificates such as "Product Green Level Three-Star Leader", "Green Building Materials", and "Product Carbon Footprint". Additionally, in December 2023, EGing PV received the first "Zero-Carbon Factory" certification certificate in the photovoltaic industry awarded by the China Quality Certification Center.
Looking forward, EGing PV will continue to uphold the concept of green development, innovate in technology and products, and strengthen cooperation with supply chain partners to make new and greater contributions to the global cause of sustainable development.
